1. Can you make the movements of Wudu in the correct order?

Make all the movements of Wudu - ablution in the correct order starting with right each time and washing each part the correct number of times. i.e. to wash hands, mouth, nose, face, arms, wipe the fair and wash the feet in order.

2. Can you make the movements of the Salah - prayer?

Complete all the movements of the Salah - the daily prayers in Islam, in the correct order and the correct number of times, with or without the associated supplications. i.e. to stand toward the Qiblah, raise hands to make first takbeer, bowing, standing, prostrating, sitting, prostrating again and standing for the next unit or sitting for supplication and turning the face to the right and left at the end.

3. Can you name and explain the 5 pillars of Islam?

Name the 5 pillars of Islam, Shahadah, Salah, Zakat, Sawm and Hajj, and explain briefly what they mean.

4. Can you say the Shahadah correctly and its meaning?

I can say at least one form of the shahadah correctly and understand that it means that there is none worthy to be worshipped besides Allah and that Muhammad is His messenger.

5. Can you name the five daily prayers and how may units of prayer we must complete?

Name the five daily prayers and explain briefly when they are i.e. Fajr at dawn, Zuhr after noon, Asr in the evening, Maghrib at sunset and Isha at night. Also explain how many rak'ah (units of prayer) we must pray at each of these times.

6. Can you explain what Zakat is?

I can explain that Zakat is charity that Muslims must pay every year if they are rich.

7. Can you explain what fasting is?

Explain what fasting is and how we fast. i.e. that all adult Muslims must stop eating and drinking during the days of ramadhan until sunset.

8. Can you explain what Hajj is and who has to do it?

Explain what Hajj is and who is obliged to perform it. i.e. that it is a special trip to the house of Allah, the Ka'bah to worship Allah that all Muslims must do once if they can.

  1. All to do lists by Happy Books can be viewed for free without any registration or details. However, objectives/steps cannot be ticked off nor progress recorded.
  2. A free temporary username can be created with only a name and an email address (optional) to receive alerts. This can be used on one computer only for 30 days, after which all progress and details will automatically be deleted. Happy Books will not retain any details.
  3. If you already have a Happy Books account or if you register for one free, you can store your to do list progress permanently and tick objectives for more than one name e.g. members of your family or staff, for free.
  4. If you purchase a subscription with a small fee, you can create your own private to do lists and add even more names to tick objectives for public and private lsits.

To use more than one user at a time, you must remain logged in. Users who wish to use a to do list without registering an account can tick off objectives for all lists for only 1 temporary name at a time.
