- Learn about the names of things around us

- Identify the sun, moon and the stars as creations of Allah
- Make note of the fact that the sun, stars and moon depend on Allah and should not be worshipped
- Recognise that the sun is a lamp that gives heat and light
- Recognise that the moon reflects the light from the sun and is not a source of light by itself
- Identify the permitted uses of the stars as a map/directional guide for travellers
- recognise that the north star is always towards the north
